New beginnings

My partner Carr13 and I have just moved into our new home in Surbiton. I have also started working at my new job at the Generous and Advantageous Insurance (which I will henceforth call G&A) in London - all in the space of a week. Phew! The people at Gen&Ad seem nice enough if a little quiet. I wore my bright green tie and red socks, so I think word has got about someone a bit "off the wall" has arrived!

As to our new home, or "property" as our estate agent insisted on calling it, we have three bedrooms, a small kitchen, dining room and lounge. The rear garden is a good size, but a bit overgrown. Carr13 is looking forward to having a garden to sit out in, as our last property was a first floor flat. More importantly we have broadband, we are part of the digital world, and the digital world is waiting to hear from me.

I intend this blog to focus both on the news of the day, and a record of my "unexceptional" life.
